Terms of Service
Version 2026-11-02 · Last updated November 2, 2026
These Terms are an agreement between you and Elliott Beaty (d/b/a UberBot) (“UberBot”, “we”, “us”) about your use of the UberBot Discord bot, its website, admin portal, and its connectors for Claude, ChatGPT and other AI apps (together, the “Service”). By adding UberBot to a server, connecting it to an AI app, or paying for a plan, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.
1. Who can use UberBot
You must be at least 13 years old (or older if your country requires it) and able to form a binding contract, and you must follow Discord’s Terms of Service and Community Guidelines. If you use UberBot for an organization, you confirm you are allowed to accept these Terms for it.
2. What UberBot does
UberBot is installed in a Discord server with the Administrator permission and carries out requests made in Discord or through connected AI apps: managing channels, roles, members, messages and settings, scheduled posts, AI moderation and an AI help desk. Every request is checked against the requesting person’s own Discord permissions, and changes are recorded in the server’s audit log under that person’s name.
3. Your responsibilities
- Only add UberBot to servers you own or are authorized to administer, and only grant access to people you trust with the permissions UberBot checks for them.
- You are responsible for the actions you ask UberBot to take and for confirming them. UberBot shows a preview or a Confirm button before changes; review it.
- Don’t use UberBot to spam, mass-DM, harass, scrape, evade bans, violate anyone’s privacy, break Discord’s rules or any law, or to attack, overload or reverse-engineer the Service.
- Keep your Discord account and connected AI apps secure. You can review and revoke connections at any time on the connections page.
4. AI features
UberBot uses AI models (currently from Anthropic) to understand requests, write answers, moderate messages and answer help-desk questions. AI output can be wrong, incomplete or inappropriate. It is not professional advice. AI moderation only flags or removes messages according to your settings, and it will miss things and make mistakes. Moderators remain responsible for moderation decisions. Content processed by AI features is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Plans, payment and credits
- Plans are priced per Discord server and billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through our payment processor Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time from the admin portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep your plan until then. Except where the law requires otherwise, payments are non-refundable and we don’t give refunds or credits for partial periods.
- New servers may receive a free trial. When it ends, the server moves to the Free plan unless a paid plan is purchased; no card is needed for the trial.
- AI credits measure AI usage. Monthly credits reset each calendar month and don’t roll over. Purchased or bonus credits don’t expire while the Service operates. Credits have no cash value, can’t be transferred between servers, and aren’t refundable.
- We may change prices or plan features with at least 30 days’ notice. Changes apply from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
- Taxes may be added where required. If a payment fails, we may move the server to the Free plan after a short grace period.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep UberBot available but don’t guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. Discord, AI providers or other services it depends on may change or fail. We may change, add or remove features. If we discontinue a paid plan entirely, we will refund the unused part of any prepaid period.
7. Suspension and termination
You can stop using UberBot at any time by removing it from your server and revoking connections. We may suspend or terminate access if you break these Terms, create risk or legal exposure for us or others, or if required by Discord or law. Where reasonable, we’ll tell you first.
8. Intellectual property
We own the Service and its software and branding. You keep ownership of your server content. You give us the limited permission needed to process it to provide the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Disclaimers
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON’T WARRANT THAT AI OUTPUT OR AUTOMATED ACTIONS WILL BE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST DATA, MESSAGES, MEMBERS, PROFITS OR GOODWILL, INCLUDING FROM ACTIONS TAKEN AT YOUR REQUEST OR BY AUTOMATED FEATURES YOU ENABLED. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR US$50 IF GREATER.
11. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify us against third-party claims arising from your servers, your content, or your misuse of the Service or breach of these Terms.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, except that either party may seek relief in small-claims court. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can’t be waived.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and for material changes we’ll give reasonable notice (for example in the admin portal). Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect means you accept them. Paying customers may be asked to accept again before their next purchase.
